As a natural born communicator...
Residing in her home state of Tennessee, Jordan Scruggs is a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community and strives to forever bring hope and change for the current and next generation of dreamers.
She began her activism work in college and over the years and has never looked back. She has campaigned for the repeal of DADT and Anti-Bullying legislation, healthcare reform, immigration reform. She's participated in Day of Silence, and reached out to her church community, discussing how they affect the LGBTQ community.
Being heavily involved with politics, civil rights, and activism, her personal story has been featured in New York Times and GLAAD online articles. Her involvement with The Trevor Project also led to her the honor of delivering that story at their Trevor Live event in 2013.
With her passion being in communications and connecting with the world around her, she's honored to have participated in events such as SPARK: Media Camp, The Trevor Project's Youth Advisory Council, local and national political campaigns and hopes to be active for a better tomorrow for a very long time.
In her spare time she watches documentaries to keep her noggin sharp and Olivia Popes her way through life by taking care of business and calling those who love her, Gladiators.
